What's so bad about the Constitution?

The constitution is the written document that protects our God given rights and it is the law of the land. If the President of the United States is sworn into Office to protect and uphold the constitution, why shouldn't we reject any candidate who plans on or agrees with violating the constitution? We have a candidate who is an outrageous advocate for policies that violate the constitution. How could he even be an eligible candidate? Why isn’t the constitution a platform to run on? Instead, we present ideas of how to fix problems caused by the government. In the current state of our country, the biggest threat we have isn’t foreign or domestic enemies or the economy. Our biggest threat is the eroding constitution. Why don’t we dismiss all candidates who deny or neglect the constitution in any way? Why is Ron Paul being neglected from participating in the National Convention? Ron Paul is the only candidate who is truly eligible based on his constitutional vision for the future of our country. WHAT IS SO BAD ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION?
