We need to get back to the basics in that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and the courts need to follow it. We don't need any "living Constitution" theories to try to sidestep what it means, and we don't need liberal justices avoiding and twisting what it means, and we don't need lawless attorney general offices ignoring it. The Obama administration has left us a legacy of lawlessness and selective enforcement. That has to stop. The Constitution says what it says for very good reasons that were debated thoroughly in the Constitutional Convention. It needs to be re-enthroned as the law of the land with liberty and citizens' rights at the fore. |
